Alpha Technologies Ltd acquires Sentrex Repair Division

Effective February 1, 2008 Alpha Technologies Ltd. has completed the acquisition of the equipment repair operations of Sentrex Communications Ltd. Alpha is a Canadian business with over 30 years of experience in the manufacture and servicing of electrical and power systems. The acquisition of Sentrex’s equipment repair operations is part of an ongoing Alpha program to enhance the service and support of Alpha products. Former customers of Sentrex repair services will be pleased to know that Mr. Bogdan Sokolowski, the repair centre manager, has elected to join Alpha Technologies Ltd where he assumes the position of Service Centre Manager. Bogdan and his team will be an important part of continuing to deliver on the Alpha promise of power and service integrity.

Service operations will continue at the existing location. There are no operational changes planned, however you will see a wider range of services and products available directly from the Woodbridge facility effective immediately. In particular, field services, including Preventative Maintenance, Battery Replacement and Contract Maintenance are now available for the complete Alpha product line.
